22nd Amendment
The 22nd amendment limits the President to two elected 4 year terms. Overall, the maximum they can serve is 8 years.
23rd Amendment
This amendment grants D.C. citizens the right to vote. It also allows them 3 presidential electors.
24th Amendment
This amendment stops poll taxes. These were used to keep African Americans from voting.
25th Amendment
This amendment talks about the process in which the vice president takes office. If the president is unable to fulfill his or her job then the vice president is to take over.
26th Amendment
The 26th amendment lowered the voting age to 18 in both state and national ballots. Some people disagreed with this because they said the 18 year olds weren't educated enough to make the right decision.
27th Amendment
The 27th amendment prohibits the government from creating a law decreasing or increasing Senators and Representative's income until an election of representatives happens. This is called a Congressional Pay raise
