Article 1
Article 1 states that the Legislative Branch will consist of two houses, the House of Representatives and the Senate One house, the Senate, includes two elected members from each state. The other, the House of Representatives, members are based on population. They have the power to create laws.
Article 2
This Article states that under the Executive Branch of government there will be a President and a Vice President. They have the power to say yes or no to any laws made by congress. If you would like to run for either position you have to have been born in the United States of America.
Article 3
Article 3 states that the purpose of the Judicial Branch was to enforce laws made by congress. The Supreme Court was created as the highest court to do so.
Article 4
Article 4 states that if you go into different states you have the same rights as those who live there. This also means that if you were charged for a crime in one state, fleeing to a different state wont change your rights. It also states that Congress has the power to admit new states. This Article guarantees the states protection.
Article 5
This amendment says that to propose an ammend to the constitution, two out of three members in both houses, the House of Representatives and the Senate, votes are needed. No state can be deprived of its equal say in the senate.
Article 6
Article 6 states that the Constitution is the supreme law of the United States. If there is a conflict among states they must look to the Constitution to solve it.
Article 7
Article 7 was written to show how to ratify the Constitution.
