1st Amendment
The 1st amendment protects 5 freedoms. It protects the right to freedom of:religion, speech, press, assembly, and petition.
2nd Amendment
The second amendment concluded that a militia was nesessary
for the welfare of the citizens. It also states that the right to bear arms
shall not be violated.

3rd Amendment
This amendment states that in times of both war and peace no person will be forced to house a solider. We have the right to provide quarters for them or not.
4th Amendment
The 4th amendment protects your house from unlawful searches and seizures. It states that your house cannot be searched and violated unless a Warrant is issued for a certain reason.
5th Amendment
Amendment five is the right to remain silent. When accused of a crime, life, liberty, and property may not be taken away from you without due process of law.
6th Amendment
The 6th amendment states that in criminal prosecutions the accused has a right to a speedy, public trial. If they cannot afford a lawyer one will be provided for you.
7th Amendment
The 7th amendment states that In law suits, there is the right to a fair, un-bias jury. A trial must be held before you are proven guilty and thrown in jail.
8th Amendment
The 8th amendment states that if you go to jail, the bail will not be outrageous It also states that there will be no cruel or unusual punishments.
9th Amendment
The first 10 amendments are the Bill of Rights. The 9th amendment prevents the government from saying that the only rights of the citizens of the United States are those listed in the Bill of Rights.
10th Amendment
This amendment states that power that is not given to the federal government can be controlled and decided by the states or the people.
